About this service.
Chikungunya causes sudden high fever and joint pain that can linger for months. It is spread by daytime-biting mosquitoes in parts of Asia, Africa, the Caribbean, South America and the Indian Ocean.
Vimkunya is a non-live vaccine, which makes it an option for a wider range of travellers than the live alternative, including many people who would otherwise be excluded.
